Tersus has provided specialist services to the defence industry for many years, including military bases, air bases, nuclear submarines, munitions manufacturers and weapons testing organisations.
Each of the sites involved requires stringent security checks, site passes and inductions due to the unique, secure environments we need to access in order to deliver our services.
The services we deliver to the Defence Sector can range from a training course delivered in the Falkland Islands to the project management of large scale asbestos removal projects at an MOD Base, through to the annual re-inspection of asbestos at a munitions factory.
During the initial consultation, our technically qualified and experienced team will recommend which of our specialist services are needed to ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
Whilst some organisations use our secure, online systems to store their asbestos data, others require us to provide our reports in PDF format, use their bespoke templates or systems to record our findings and issue our final reports.
The training provided last week was incredibly well received. The number of times I have people telling me the training is one of the best they’ve attended is phenomenal, and is a testament to both the Trainer's knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to deliver what can be quite technical and dry material in such an engaging manner.
