Case Study

Tersus has extensive experience of supporting blue light organisations, including the Police, the Fire Service, Ambulance Service and the Coastguard.

Our customer portfolio includes an Asbestos Management Services contract with an English Police Force serving over 1 million people, covering a geographical area of nearly 3,000 square miles including rural and densely populated urban areas.

Tersus have provided a full range of UKAS accredited asbestos management services across the portfolio since 2021 to enable the safe management of asbestos in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Vetting is vital to ensure that public confidence is not affected by an individual who is employed by, or works on behalf of a police force. This is to prevent dishonest or corrupt practices and to maintain the integrity of the organisations involved.

Any individual who has access to police sites, assets, data and/or systems must hold vetting clearance.

The Tersus team have undergone NPPV (Non-Police Personnel Vetting) and are cleared to deliver our specialist services in police buildings.

  • UKAS accredited Asbestos Surveys
  • UKAS accredited Asbestos Sampling and Bulk Sample Analysis
  • UKAS accredited Air Monitoring and Four Stage Clearance with Certificate of Reoccupation
  • Project management and procurement of asbestos removal via independent HSE licensed contractors
  • Consultancy and the development of Asbestos Management Plans
  • Industry leading asbestos management database with secure online customer portal

""

We have worked with Tersus for two years, and they have assisted us with setting up a robust surveying routine through a time of transition for the service with the Estates function moving back in-house.

Thank you to the team for their expertise and support; we look forward to continuing our working relationship."
