Tersus supports Magnox Ltd Charity Golf Day to raise £27k for St Margaret’s Hospice Care

As part of the annual Hinkley Point A charity fundraiser, Tersus Consultancy Ltd joined Magnox Ltd (now Nuclear Restoration Services) and their other supply chain partners at a golf event to support St Margaret’s Hospice Care and the vital care they provide within the community.

The aim of the day was to have fun but also challenge ourselves to surpass last year's £10,000 fundraising total, by sponsoring the event, donating a prize and getting involved in the auction.

The team of Lee Robson, Robert Phelps, David Evans and Paul Johnson were overjoyed that the event raised a fantastic total of £27,600 for the local community charity.

The Magnox team said: 

“Your very kind donations towards our Golf Event for Hinkley Point A Site’s 2023 charity, St. Margaret’s Hospice, has raised a staggering £27,600, which was presented to them by cheque on Tuesday 31st October 2023."
