Our experience of working in domestic properties

Tersus has extensive experience of providing specialist services in domestic properties ranging from homes managed by social landlords/ housing associations, local authorities, managing agents or their contractors, to care homes, student accommodation and other domestic environments.

Arranging Access

One of the key challenges when working in domestic properties and associated communal areas is gaining access. Our proactive approach is focused on collaboration with the resident and customer, offering flexibility and various options for communication.

Working with residents

Delivering technical services successfully in domestic environments means working efficiently without causing mess or disruption, sometimes engaging with residents in different languages, and from time to time, encountering safeguarding issues. Our experienced team are trained not just in their technical discipline but in customer service, communication, safeguarding and more. We also work effectively as part of a CDM team on large refurbishment schemes such as boiler replacements, solar panel installations and EWI.

Industry-leading systems and software

We use tablets for efficient on-site data capture and automated reporting. Working to a defined specification, our reports, data and other documentation are accessible via industry-leading online customer portals. Compatible with customer databases and other 3rd party systems, we can present our data, download or import it into the desired format.

Award-winning training

In addition to working in domestic environments, we deliver award-winning training for people responsible for managing or working in domestic properties.
