Tersus offer tailored surveys for both Management of asbestos in premises for ‘dutyholders’ compliance with the law and full access surveys for refurbishment and demolition projects. Surveys may be undertaken as a single phase of work, or in multiple stages where ACM has been identified, in order to help the customer manage project costs by budgeting for associated asbestos removal or treatment costs.
Tersus holds Type C inspection body status, accredited by UKAS to the criteria of ISO/IEC 17020. This accreditation is for ‘Surveying for asbestos in premises’. We offer the following survey types: Management, Refurbishment, Targeted Refurbishment, Demolition and Re-inspection of identified or suspected asbestos containing materials. Premises types include Domestic, Commercial and Industrial premises.
We offer comprehensive survey and assessment packages designed to ensure that you comply fully with all current legislation. All surveys are UKAS accredited and are carried out using standards laid out in “HSG 264 Asbestos: The survey guide” and “HSG227 A comprehensive guide to managing asbestos in premises.”
Surveys are tailor made to your requirements so that we deliver to you what you need. Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 regulation 4 requires a site specific risk management plan. Tersus is suitably qualified to ensure that all aspects of asbestos risk management are considered when delivering a site specific management plan.
Tersus has locations across the UK enabling a truly national surveying package, delivering a uniform solution to contracts that are being carried out nationally.
